Got a Budding Golfer in the Family?
Our Weekly Junior Academy Classes run every Saturday afternoon:
1pm – 2pm for under 10s*
2.15pm – 3.15pm for 10-15 years
*Minimum age 5 years
The classes focus on fun, with players learning the basics of golfing techniques through games and exercises, such as grip, stance, posture, aim and distance. Equipment will be provided. Golf shoes, trainers or plimsolls recommended.
Each player will be assessed and provided with targets appropriate for their age and ability.
Classes operate in four week blocks and can be booked singularly or as a complete block – please call for details & current pricing.

Pay and play!!!Fun simple golf, no stupid shoes or fancy jumpers and hats needed.Enjoy the game but don't want the faff that comes with it then go here.Great 9 hole golf course, quite short holes but plenty of tricky shots including 2 streams to play over. Last hole is a biggy.Owners always welcoming.

This is lovely 9 hole par 3 course. Great for golfers new to the sport wanting to improve short iron skills, chipping and putting etc. Has a few natural feature challenges on a couple of holes. New owner's working hard to improve greens and clubhouse and lovely patio area. Very chilled vibe. Great if you only have a spare hour or two after work. Great value for money and a friendly place to play.

Great little course and fantastic owners.The greens have improved greatly with the new groundsman Who is very very good at his job.The plans for the course are to make it an amenity for the community to try and get Everybody interested in the game.Three of us come over from Northenden a couple of times a week and see an improvement each time.Well worth a visit and golf at a very reasonable price. Travelled there today met by a very warm welcome from one of the pros Sam brilliant par 3 course in a lovely setting.when a lot of courses are closed due to the wet weather this was in remarkable dry condition .Brilliant course for your short game and very friendly staff .

WOW! We went to MMGC as I was trying to created a special day for my Husband while we are in a reduced lockdown. The team at MMGC pulled together an absolutely fabulous day for us. We spent over 3 hours in the simulator and what an amazing place this is, I would highly recommend for all skill levels. My husband is a lapsed golfer and me and our kids haven’t played before, but we all left having such a great time and we now have concerted kids who can’t wait to return. Thank you to Lisa, Sam and all the team for making our day so very special.

After taking up golf again after many years I’d completely confused myself watching YouTube videos and second guessing where I was going wrong ! Took the plunge and booked three lessons with Sam. Really great value and money well spent. Sam is a top bloke and along with the up to date technology on offer here, can tell you exactly what needs to change in the swing and offers very clear ways to improve. Very highly recommended really puts pleasure back in the game. There is a lovely little 9 hole course to play it’s a great place with really great staff !

He utilises all of the fantastic facilities at Marton and his lessons and encouragement have been huge for me in improving my swing and game. I couldn’t recommend him enough to other people.

I arranged a client/associate day on 21st May 2021.20 people attended across a range of local businesses.It was my way of saying thanks (as opposed to buying bottles at Xmas).Marton Meadows – both the team & their facilities were awesome!!The day was a huge success.We started at lunchtime with food which really hit the spot.We then played 9 holes of golf which took around 90mins.Given the size of our party we were given exclusive access to the course for 3 hours.After this everybody flocked to the indoor simulator, which has capacity for people to stand & watch, drink, chat, do whatever they want.There was Sky sports on in the background.There was a great atmosphere in there - an incredible facility given we were unlucky with the weather & people had somewhere to head to after their round.The staff were brilliant – I don’t praise people in this way unless it is warranted.They treated me & my day with the utmost respect, professionalism & humour.I can honestly say I spoke with every single staff member, from the chef, (Jonathan) to the manager (Chad), to the ladies serving the drinks (Sue & Bella) & the club pro (Mike).My main contact was Lisa who was brilliant.What a day.If you are thinking about treating your clients & want somewhere which is inclusive for everybody then this is your place.Whether you’re old or young, male or female, experienced golfer or never hit a shot, everybody can join in & enjoy themselves…. we proved it!!The course is long enough, but importantly short enough to mean enjoyment is possible for all, as opposed to being intimidated by a large golf course with a stuffy environment.What a great business…… well done guys!!!!!

Fabulous! Cant believe the changes and improvements that have been made to the place. I was recommended this course by my golf coach at keele. Being new to the game large courses can be a bit daunting at time especially if you get unfriendly members.Some clubs I've contacted for a game have been really off putting on the phone or email so I tried Marton meadows, I have to travel a bit to get there but its well worth it for a player at my level. My son who's 13 and just started playing just like me comes along also.The staff are always friendly and have great excitement towards the future upgrades from building a new clubhouse which is ongoing but doesn't affect the course to the extension of the course creating more par 4's. The course seems well looked after and greens have been really good despite the weather. The practice putting area is great and the 3 bays to warm up in are great also. I believe theres a golf simulator to but ive never tried that.My only gripe would be the winter teas

We travelled from North Wales to play here and it was well worth the drive .Its an excellent course especially for the not so confident golfer like myself..The staff were very helpful and friendly .We are planing on coming back soon for another round of golf and Afternoon Tea in the lovely little cafe.. Great course to sharpen your par three's, spending an enormous amount of money here new clubhouse with raised bar/ diner,viewing platform ,pro shop,told they're acquiring fields to make couple of existing par 3s,tp par 4, par 5 next year.will definitely be returning. Food excellent!

The "Bunker" is a detached building with a twin screen golf simulator inside. Great golf aid. It gives you lots of data on your swing, ball speed etc and you can play holes on several famous golf courses.The golf course is 9 holes, 8 par 3s and a par 4 to finish, set in pleasant surroundings.A group of us went to use the simulator and play 9 holes. The staff were all very helpful and we had a great time. Well worth a visit!

Excellent place with fabulous staff. Didn't get a chance to play in the actual course, but the bunker golf simulator is incredible. I'll probably never play St Andrews for real but the sim is a blast. There were so many courses available too. Can't recommend it highly enough. The food we ordered was fantastic too.

No idea about the golf but what a fantastic breakfast, as a group of none members we were welcomed and served quickly. There was quite a range on the menu but being a hungry biker my eyes only went down as far as the all day breakfast (which was at the top of the page) for just £9 we got a full english including bacon, egg, black pudding, mushroom, hash brown sausage and beans with a proper hot drink included (I had a latte), everything was served hot and nicely cooked. We were all off to Matlock with the intention for fish and chips for lunch at a well known fish and chip shop however we were all still full and settled for an ice cream instead. It was pure chance we found ourselves there due to a road closure and having to take an improvised detour but our lead rider smelt the food as we passed and insisted on turning back to see if we could get fed and we were all glad we did.

I booked an afternoon tea for our Mothers Union and was very impressed. The staff could not have been any more helpful. The table looked amazing and the food was to die for. I think they were the best sandwiches I have ever tasted with a generous amount of filling and it was proper clotted cream for the sconesThey made a box up for one member who was not well enough to attend and at the end of the afternoon put a bunch of the table flowers in the bag with the food for her which was so thoughtful. We were suppled with boxes to take any leftovers home and there were some as the portions were very generous. I would highly recommend a visit as you will not be disappointed

Excellent visit today every member of staff was polite and gave me excellent information about events coming up in the future. The course was very dry indeed considering most around my area were closed around Didsbury. There were 8 par 3 holes which were in great condition and the 9th a par 4. I played the first 9 with two very friendly members who informed me that 3 new holes are under construction and the new driving range will be open very soon with a 8 trackman systems. After my round I paid for 1 hour on a indoor simulator and I played the old course at St Andrews not very well I may say. All I can say it's a excellent set up from the club house and the temporary pro shop which will move when the very smart new club house opens from what I could see it's a asset to the area and very well run, and if you need to sharped up on your par 3's this is the place.

I have been a member of Marton Meadows for going on 2 years now and it's a brilliant place to be, it has a tight, challenging Par 3 course with a 3 hole extension in the pipeline.You couldn't ask for a friendlier more professional team, the food is excellent! The Madri is always cold and the banter between the locals is always top notch.With a new clubhouse and driving range currently under construction I can't wait to see what next summer has instore.

I’ve taken my 3 young children who were well fed and always had a great time practising their game and having fun. Great place for golfers and families alike.

Enjoyable 9 holes, 8 short par 3s and the 9th a more challenging par 4. Friendly welcome, everything in good condition despite the weather and we had a fun round.

First time here but won’t be the last from walking in reception staff so friendly took the time to explain where everything was even showing us outside the first tee and which way the course played the course was great super 9 holes will definitely be returning.

Great little 9 hole course. Perfect to practice your short game. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and the new driving range looks very nice. Will definitely be visiting again.

I've been to the driving range, which is newly opened with all the top tracking software. Also a friend took me round the 9 hole course, which was great as a beginner.

As a first time visitor I must say how impressed I was as to the very friendly and inviting feel. Staff are extremely helpful and accomodating, the course is in realy good condition, after all of the poor weather we have received this year.

My son and I have just started to play golf and we decided to try out this 9 hole par 3 course for some practice. We really enjoyed playing here and will definitely be coming back here again. It is a great little pay and play course we only paid £11 each for a Saturday afternoon. Well worth it.

Marton is a cracking pay and play course, with good all weather tees and good, well kept greens. Great course for practicing your short game!

I’m part of a group of ladies who play at Marton every week. It’s a fantastic place to learn and improve our golf. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. A reasonably priced driving range and great food make it ideal for all our needs.

It was the first time we had played at Marton Meadows G.C. after reading glowing reviews on Golf Now & The Grint.Throughly enjoyed our booked 9 hole round today so much, that we managed to squeeze in another 9 holes straight afterwardsThe greens were in good condition if a little slower than expected but it only took a couple of holes to dial that in and obviously that’s all part of the game.We also hit a few balls to warm up beforehand in the range & the Top Tracer screens gave good insight into your shorts.On the whole a cracking little course which will test you where it counts… on the scoring shots…

Every time we come to the range the staff are so lovely, very accommodating and go above and beyond. We came yesterday to use the golf simulator as a big family and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Thankyou for a great experience and we can’t wait to come again!

Absolutely fantastic place, hospitality from the managers and staff is incredible, we use the sim and range regularly. Perfect place for golf on the cold winter nights, beer, food and golf, what more do you need 🙂

The bunker is a great place to play some golf on any course in the world especially when it's wet outside. The hospitality was fantastic and the complimentary food was a lovely touch.Definitely worth a visit.

Me and my partner went to Marton meadows today for the first time after friends of ours recommended it to us as we are new to golf, we booked a tee time on line but upon arrival went to the reception and let them know we were there and that we were new to the game, instantly we were made to feel welcome and accepted, even tho we haven’t got a clue about the game apart from hitting balls at the driving range a few times, we were shown around the driving range, the reception and the bunker (indoor golf simulator) we were also introduced to the staff onsite who were all very friendly and professional, after playing our first round of golf we went back to the reception and again greeted with the friendly ladies who were working behind the till, thanks for a great experience and we will be back again very soon and are already looking at memberships. We would highly recommend Marton meadows for people new to golf as well the experienced golfers just because of how friendly and welcoming it is.

The indoor simulator is superb! Best indoor simulator I’ve ever played on! Very accurate for a simulator and a great set up! Can watch tv, listen to music whilst playing! It’s absolutely fantastic and worth every penny which is a bargain too! Thanks to all the staff and to Tony for looking after us!

OK ladies, let's face, when we reach our 50s or even 40s! we start to think...what next?????????♀️. Well I have found the perfect "what next?" at Marton Meadows Golf Club. I'd never picked up a club until last year and even then was a still unsure if it was for me, but then I "played? " ???????? at Marton Meadows Golf Club. The staff couldn't be anymore welcoming, anymore supportive or anymore encouraging than they are. They have broken down any fears I had and even looked after me when I took the plunge to do 9 holes on my own. Just brilliant! Now I'm hooked ????????♀️ Marton Meadows Golf Club is a great place and I hope to spend many more afternoons getting my swing perfected and of course getting my steps in ????. Come on ladies, get those Tees out and have a go at playing at Marton Meadows. Big shout out to Tony, he's been so encouraging and is always at hand with tips and advice. All in all a perfect place for every player even the very, very beginners like myself!! Thanks Marton Meadows Glof Club!!!
