At Marton Meadows Golf Club, we’re passionate about helping the next generation discover and enjoy the game. Our Junior Golf Academy is designed to help children build confidence, learn new skills and most importantly have fun in a safe golfing environment.
Junior Golf Coaching Every Saturday
Led by our England Golf accredited Community Golf Instructor Tony Barker, our weekly sessions are designed to help children build confidence, learn new skills and most importantly – have fun.
Session Times:
- 1:00pm – 2:00pm (Ages 5–10)
- 2:15pm – 3:15pm (Ages 11–15)
These structured group sessions provide a great opportunity for junior golfers to develop their skills whilst having fun.

Our Junior Academy is ideal for:
- Complete beginners trying golf for the first time

Tony Barker
Tony Barker is an England Golf accredited Community Golf Instructor (CGI) at Marton Meadows Golf Club, specialising in helping young players learn and enjoy the game of golf.
As the lead coach for our Junior Golf Academy, Tony creates fun, engaging sessions designed to build confidence, develop skills and introduce children to the basics of golf in a safe and supportive environment. He also manages the club’s Golf Sixes junior team, helping young golfers progress and enjoy friendly competition.
With a relaxed and encouraging approach, Tony makes golf enjoyable for all ages and abilities — whether your child is picking up a club for the first time or looking to improve.
